Sacred Symbols
Each chapter opens with an original symbolic illustration inspired by African spirituality, sacred geometry and Black Psychology.
These symbols have been thoughtfully created to represent the 7 core elements and 3 additional aspects for reflection and progression:
Memory
Reason
Conscience
Will
Ego
Senses
Drivers
Kuumba
Integration
Closing Ritual
They are intended to become visual anchors for contemplation and personal growth.

Community of Self elements

Why This Journal is Different. Most reflective journals ask: "What happened?"
This journal asks: Who was I becoming in that moment?
Drawing on African-centred Black Psychology, The Inner Counsel moves beyond problem-solving towards restoration, dignity and collective wellbeing.
